About

Valerie Hernandez is a painter based on the Connecticut shoreline. She currently paints the places and plants around her in acrylic on wood panels, following her curiosities. Her first series of small paintings, made in 2017, drew a warm response online. After pursuing a commercial career, she has returned to her own work and is building a larger series and preparing prints and exhibitions.
